　　Do you agree or disagree with the statement that studentsshould be rewarded if they perform well at school?

　　Sample Answer

　　From what I know, I would agree with the statement thatstudents should get praised when their parents have a positive feedback of themfrom school. There are several reasons that I would point out here.

　　Firstly, the motivation for students to continue to workhard as before or even harder than before, I would assume that the award is astimulus to students who have a remarkable performance at school. It makesperfect sense for parents to do so.

　　Secondly, the satisfaction for students to be happy, thetedious process of studying is really hard for students to take at school. Ifthey can receive any kind of gift as the encouragement for their hard work, itwill really make them feel relieved.

　　Task3

　　The professor plans to use a research paper rather than atest for the final.

　　教授认为：可以让学生有更多时间准备一个确定的话题，从而会研究得更加深入。

　　男生不同意：这个课程是介绍性课程(introductory course)，只介绍了基本知识。不需要了解很深。另外，因为现在已经有学生准备考试了，如果换成研究论文学生又要做更多工作更有压力。

　　Task4

　　术语是：Renewalecology,意思是，把一个地方恢复到原始的自然状态。

　　Lecture:以学校为例，学校本来是荒地，有wild grass, flower和bush,后来为了建设操场，就都被毁掉了。现在学校打算重新种回这些植物，可以恢复到原来物种的多样性，吸引一些其他的生物回来，从而让学生更亲近自然同时学会自然的知识。

　　Task5

　　男生因为上课坐的椅子不好的原因，造成了back hurting, 医生建议他换一把椅子，但是医生建议的网站上现在没有那种椅子。第一个办法是等3-4week，才能配送(deliver)。

　　第二个是在附近的工厂买一把比较相似的很便宜，这个男生坐了也比较舒服。
