人物类话题

目前，人物类话题保留到1月有：Someone you recently met。

以这题为例，来说说要如何作答。

Describe someone you met recently and would like to know more about.

You should say:

who this person is;

when and where you met;

what you did or talked about;

and explain why you would like to know more about this person.

大多数情况下，人物类话题都需要大家描述一个熟悉的朋友或亲人，但是也有需要大家去讨论名人或者是陌生人的。所以，在回答人物类话题的时候，大家一定要先分清楚，这个人是要说自己认识的，还是不认识的。一般来说，someone you know = someone you personally know. 也就是生活中认识的人，而不是电视里的明星名人。

对于这种描述人的话题，同学们可以往这个人物的品质和能力靠拢。一个人为人处世中的personalities或是abilities往往决定了这个人身上会发生的故事。

因此，大家在回答这类话题的时候，可以着重突出一下人物性格或者能力，然后谈论在这个人物身上发生的事情。

在描述或评价一个人物的时候，可以采取三个步骤，A. 直接说明此人的性格特点或能力，B. 补充解释，C. 举例说明。

比如说到在火车上遇到了an Interesting girl;为什么她很特别，很面就补充了，因为她独自背包去过很多地方;再举例，比如某个国家或地区;最后，聊一聊自己的想法。

物品类话题

保留到1月的话题有：a gift, a piece of equipment。

在回答物品类话题时，形容词也是必不可少的。

大家在平时备考中要多积累与颜色、形状、长度、特点相关的形容词。要想把一个物品描述清楚，需要童鞋们从外观、内部、功能等方面着手，循序渐进，介绍完整。

不过，在雅思口语考试里，除了描述物品，大家还需要结合自身经验和实际来使物品本身更丰富，使整个回答更流畅更自然。比如我们可以这么回答：

This brilliant gadget is thin and light, but it‘s got every feature that we can think of. To be more specific, what makes an iPad powerful is that there are thousands of applications tailor-made for users to take full advantage of its capability.

When it comes to why it’s important to me, firstly, it makes my study more convenient. You know, I work as an accountant now. If I wanna get promoted and receive a higher salary, I have to pass some exams in the first place. With the iPad, I can hold it and take classes in bed or lie on the sofa. It’s pretty convenient.

And another thing I have to mention is that iPad offers a "full screen" gaming experience that rivals browser-based games. Games can be displayed in beautiful high definition, with plenty of screen real estate for interfaces or large battlefields. I must say, for a game lover like me, it is really awesome.

能够把物品的细节展示出来，才能够显得你内容真实可信噢~

地点类话题

换题月会保留的地点类话题还是蛮多的，有a park or garden, a relaxing place, a sport stadium, a tall building, 以及 work in a foreign country。

如果单纯描述这个地点是如何好或者如何地令人难忘，其实是一个很空泛的回答，比如说描述park的时候就谈到在大树下乘凉，谈到library的时候就说里面的书很多。这么cliché的东西，实在是没什么亮点!

因此，能够specifically 指出你在这个地点做了什么，或者是这个地点中的某些事物是你觉得有什么不一样的，回答就会瞬间有内容多了!

比如说，大家在聊到a park or garden这个话题的时候，就可以说公园里面的某个小摊贩的drinks 或者snacks非常出名，需要排很久的队伍才能买到。

总之，说出what makes it so special for you to bring it out !

事件经历类

事件经历类话题是口语里占比最高的，换题月之后会保留的有：a busy time, a car/bike tour, a special meal, an appointment, an expensive activity 等等。

事件经历类话题的答题重点要放在最后一个问题上(一般来说最后一个问题会问why it happened或how you feel about it)，多数考生也基本可以回答到3和4，但容易忽略的是细节描述和事情发生前的一些铺垫，也就是说答题过于平淡，缺少亮点。

口语话题的内容很重要，描述能否引起考官的兴趣，能否在结束后给考官留下一个深刻的印象，是大家是否能得到高分的关键。所以答题中的亮点是必不可少的。

所谓亮点，是指叙述中能够吸引听者的有意思、波澜起伏的细节或片段。它可以是举例、某个具体的动作、事物的色彩、形状等能够给别人想象空间，从而引起兴趣的点。

比如在Imagination这个话题的范例中，说到了Lego Bricks,。积木大家都懂，但是在范例中还有一个亮点，那就是：

One thing I really loved doing at the time was that I asked my parents to read me a story, then I built the scene with my imagination, such as a castle or a country cottage. The time we spent playing Lego bricks was my favourite parenting time.

....

As I mentioned earlier, I built things with Lego bricks based on my parents’ stories, and then made up my own stories and told them to my parents. In this process, I felt my parents’encouragement and patience.

媒体及其他类

保留下来的媒体及其他类话题有：a science subject, a small business, a useful website, an advertisement, an interesting song, 还有 your favourite film。

在回答这一类话题的时候，大家千万不要把重点放在对象的描述上面。比如说，song 和 film 这两道题，圈哥就经常在模考的时候听到很多童鞋都会放错重点。描述完什么歌，或者是电影情节之后，时间就用得差不多了。

所以，媒体类话题，一定要扣住题目来进行回答，不要跑偏重点。

想拿高分，除了练话题之外，最重要的还是要掌握答题方法。每个类型的话题其实都有针对性的回答套路，但是这个套路是要根据考生自己水平而定的。

有些童鞋基础好，那么可能他们的方法就比较高端;但有些童鞋，他们的目标分数可能只要6，甚至是5.5，他们自然也需要符合他们情况的备考方法。
